Shaolin Kung Fu

tour itinerary  wu shu festival

Have you ever seen someone carrying two heavy pails of water walk a staircase of razors with no pain?  Break a lead pipe with his forehead?  Jump ten feet straight up in the air, or balance his entire body off the end of a spoon? Does this sound unbelievable? It happens everyday at the Shaolin Temple, where students, amongst many other exercises, stand on their head (no hands allowed) for three hours a day, training in the practice of Shaolin Kung Fu.  The Shaolin monks have mystified the world for centuries with their incredible strength, vitality and flexibility.   They are a scientific anomaly:  their incredible control of chi gong (the center of energy in the body) acts like an invisible suit of armor, protecting their bodies from inconceivable levels of stress and strain, without a trace of injury- no bruising, no cuts, no pain.  This is the mystery of Kung Fu, and it all began centuries ago, in China’s Henan Province.

Our mission to sponsor cultural exchange between the United States and China leads us to this original form of all martial arts, Shaolin Kung Fu.  Many forms of Chinese martial arts have traveled westward across the globe and are now popular with Americans.  In response to this growing interest and in the spirit of cultural exchange, the CACBC has been asked by the Shaolin Temple in Henan Province to now provide the chance for American martial artists to travel eastward to China, where they will have a truly matchless opportunity to study with and learn from the Shaolin grandmasters and monks. To train with the Shaolin monks is the highest privilege a martial artist can hope to enjoy. We are honored to be able to provide American martial arts students and enthusiasts with the following programs, all of which are designed to:

bring you to the original     birthplace of martial arts;

expand your knowledge and   expertise;

give you access to the world’s best training and competition;

      inspire your practice in all martial arts;

      and build incredible friendships.
