"I
would like to thank the CACBC for all their efforts on our behalf, I
am sure the students will form lasting ties to their new Chinese
friends, and have a better understanding of the Middle Kingdom’s
contributions to world culture. We were treated like royalty and
felt very welcomed. I
especially enjoyed the interactions with the Chinese people."
Karen
Leo Spence, Music Educator

"My
proudest and most exciting moment was meeting with the teachers and
students at
Nanjing Middle School # 3. It was very rewarding to see students from 2
different parts of the world talk together and discover that they may be
different, but in many ways very much the same.
I
feel the trip was very well organized, and we had a wide variety of
experiences. Beautiful ancient gardens; Forbidden City; ancient buildings;
3 Kingdom City; Great Wall; boat rides; different meals; performances
along with factory visits & shopping gave everyone involved a
definite sense of what China is, and is becoming.
This
trip provided everlasting memories. I am so happy and grateful to have had
this wonderful opportunity. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make
this happen!!!

"Interacting
with the teachers at the High School was very exciting. They were very
warm and open to us - I would love to to have them visit our country. I
would like to thank CACBC for this exciting visit to China. I learned to
appreciate Chinese culture, history and beauty. The people were very accommodating
and friendly, and I would like to go back and spend more time absorbing
the Chinese culture. Again, thank you for the wonderful memories.

"I
can't thank CACBC enough for their wonderful attention to detail, and
making this trip so memorable. I learned and saw so many things about
Chinese Art and Culture- from performance to visual - that I had
previously only read about in books. What a thrill to be able to take back
my experiences and share them with my students!"

"The
view of Shanghai along the river was beautiful- both day and night.
Annie, our guide, was very proud to show us her city. My favorite things
included the Great Wall, the boat tour of Huangpu River in Shanghai, and
the Humble Administrator’s Garden in Suzhou. My goal now is to try to
visit all the wonders of the world with my family.
I would visit China with them, especially the Great Wall.

"Traveling
to China was an amazing experience that I'll never forget. The people,
places, and cultural experiences will stay with me forever. I have nothing
but praise for CACBC in making this a truly interactive trip, instead of a
mere sightseeing tour."
Stephanie
Cromer, English and Theatre Educator, IA
"I
feel we got much, much more than we paid for. Every experience
allowed us to interact with people: the schools, the dancing,
exercises in the park, and visiting with our guides. I loved all our
guides, both local and national."
