The tour covers all the ancient capitals of China, walking students through the geographic locales and historical regimes of China’s dynastic periods, bringing them from the birthplace of Asian civilization (exploring prehistoric archaeological sites) all the way to the modern, bustling city of Shanghai. This comprehensive journey provides a deep understanding of both ancient and modern China. China’s religious history, cultural tradition, democratic movement, Communist revolution, and current economic reforms, etc. are some issues that can be explored on this intensive program.
