Educational Tours

Expand your worldview by traveling to a mysterious land – China. CACBC Educational Tours are excellent learning opportunities that excite both students and teachers. Tour participants enjoy traveling, exploring Chinese history, studying art and culture, and learning Chinese, all while having a wonderful adventure.

CACBC’s specialty is to bring people to China for an enjoyable and culturally rich learning experience – one area in which we take pride.

To share our knowledge and bridge cultural understanding is CACBC’s mission. For eleven years, our organization has worked to develop understanding between people in China and the U. S. Besides organizing cultural exchange programs in China, we also work with thousands of American schools - doing performances and assemblies about Chinese culture. Our experience with American education keeps your students engaged and excited while learning firsthand on an educational tour.

Our bilingual and bicultural educators are great resources for your group from the first consultation, to the creation of your itinerary, through the final preparation of your tour. Learning resources on the tour are endless, whether you have been studying Chinese Language, Asian Culture, and World History or simply want to learn more about one of the world’s most ancient civilizations. We always work with you to follow along with your course syllabus. We arrange educational and cultural exchange tours at anytime, for any study objective.

Our knowledge of China gives you more choices, allowing an objective view of China. We have traveled extensively through China’s historic cities, and small towns. We speak its languages, understand its culture, play its music, have lived with its politics and have observed firsthand its modern developments. We bring you not only to the astounding and breathtaking sites of China, but also to areas of local history that are very often thought provoking. From heavily promoted sites to less promoted ones, from metropolitan, industrious cities to farming towns - we guide you through a variety of sites to meet your learning objectives. Learning opportunities on the tour inevitably provide students with fodder for discussion – to critically examine how China functions in the 21st century.

All programs offer in-depth cultural exchange opportunities. With CACBC, you can always meet the real people of China. You can be on your own, as an independent group, enjoying smaller scale social events, or participate in exciting musical cultural events as American supporters. An overnight stay with a Chinese family may also be included. Our attention to the real lives of Chinese people allows for participants to gain an important, new perspective on the world while making long-lasting friendships.

Enjoy professional travel services as honored guests in China!  Our excellent, English-speaking guides work with you 24 hours a day from the moment you clear customs. They sleep in the same hotels with you and are your diplomatic helpers while in China - clearing up any last-minute confusion and answering questions about everything from when the Great Wall was first erected to whether or not certain water is safe to drink. Whether you are in hotels, restaurants, sight seeing, or visiting schools - wherever you go with CACBC, you are always welcomed, honored guests.

"If an American school ever gets the chance to visit China through the CACBC, never say no. Do fundraisers, have your community help out, anything to have this amazing experience. Our students from Pioneer High School had the best experience."

Betty Smith, Parent Chaperone
